Diversity of Soil Insect in Kerandangan Ecotourism Nature Park Area West Lombok Island

The role of soil insects is very important as environmental indicator organisms, balancing ecosystems, and helping the process decomposition. This study aims to determine diversity in Kerandangan Ecotourism Nature Park (ENP) West Lombok. flora fauna that it has makes ENP suitable an ecotourism area offers interesting tourist objects well educational facilities. Sampling was carried out using pitfall trap method. Samples were taken at three stations. first station southern forest Tourism Park, second middle third north Park. Data analyzed Shannon-Wiener index. results showed there 12 types belonging 7 orders 11 families, totaling 595 individuals. Insect species dominated by from family Carabidae, namely genus Harpalus many 178 In general, index value insect TWA 1.768. highest 2, H'= 1.772. while lowest 3, H'=1.488. conclusion, Lombok, varied each general level categorized moderate.
